FYI: Be sure you look closely at the Adult Personals programs, as some of them now feature paid cam shows. It would be a violation to direct link to your site from Niteflirt or sell your site link from Niteflirt if you’re running an ad to a cam competitor. This cam feature has just started to pop up on the Adult Personals sites as it seems as though they are offering a cam show option to cash in on their traffic that wants immediate sexual gratification.

Keep in mind that you want to offer “non-competes”. This means you want to participate in Affiliate Programs which don’t interfere with what you “sell”, be it phone sex, cam, videos, photos, MP3s, etc.

Let me share a recent Adult Affiliate Program experience with you. A few months ago, I signed up for an Adult Video Game affiliate that seemed popular, promising and was definitely a “non-compete”. It was a hot thread item in Adult Webmaster Forums. An Adult Game affiliate was extremely unique and there wasn’t an over-saturated market. What I found was that the pay-out was fair, $50 per sign-up, but a threshold of 5 sales had to be achieved before the sponsor would send out a $250 commission check. For high volume traffic, and by high volume, xx,xxx per day in the right niche, could produce results. But if a website’s traffic range was xxx or low x,xxx per day, sign-ups would most likely be nil unless the site was about Gaming. In my opinion, the commission pay-out threshold was high given that the average Adult Affiliate will pay out at $100 – $150 in sales. While I had recorded one sale, I took down my ads across multiple sites, as I didn’t see the traffic converting, and felt my “real estate” (ad space) was more valuable to give to a program which would produce results for me.

So, this is what I recommend to you. Try different Niteflirt compliant and non-compete programs based on the theme of your website and your traffic trends. See what works for you. Get rid of the non-performing ads or swap out for a new ad to see if a different ad brings better results, and if that doesn’t work, then I’d recommend you scrap that program and put something else in that “real estate” which can make you money!

Playing the Adult Affiliate Program game can yield additional income even though the Adult Affiliate biz and Adult Industry is slow as a reflection of the sluggish economy. For Flirts who run one website or several, additional income of $100 – $400 per month can cover website hosting fees, design expenses and advertising costs and perhaps even put money in your pocketbook.

A writer doesn’t need to be of a particular sex or sexual orientation to assume a POV or write within a particular niche. The commonality in most cases within porn media is to attract and engage or retain male clientele. The largest percentage of consumers of porn or adult merchandise are male. Statistics prove men spend money on porn online. The majority of porn writing, from reviews to descriptions, from single blogs to fully fleshed out articles are geared toward a male audience or testosterone-driven buyer. Female porn and female adult merchandise consumers tend to sign up for dating sites, forums and personals sites or purchase sex toys and sex-related books.

I’ve been writing for my own sites and blogs for five years and writing-for-hire for three years. I have plenty of writing experience. Im not easily shocked or offended. My limitations are legal limitations; if it’s illegal, don’t expect me to even consider writing about it. I’m not desperate for money.
